Menstrual Cycle & Next Period Calculator

Enter your last period date and cycle length to track your cycle.

The calculator works by taking the date of your last menstrual period (LMP) and adding your average cycle length to it. This provides an estimated date for your next period. It also calculates your current position in the cycle and identifies which phase you are likely in.

A menstrual cycle has four main phases:

  • Menstrual Phase (Days 1-5 approx.): This is when you have your period.
  • Follicular Phase (Days 1-13 approx.): Starts on the first day of your period and ends at ovulation. An egg prepares to be released.
  • Ovulation (Day 14 approx.): The ovary releases an egg. This is the most fertile time.
  • Luteal Phase (Days 15-28 approx.): The body prepares for a possible pregnancy. If pregnancy doesn't occur, the cycle starts over.

This is an estimation tool and should not be used for medical diagnosis or as a form of contraception. Cycle lengths can vary. For any health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
